[COLLEGE] This Generation has It Too Easy…

Simple poster I made to promote bringing your own bottle or B.Y.O.B.

Lately, I have become more and more conscious, or maybe a better term is aware, of how every decision I make may be the reason our planet is slowly deteriorating. Especially when it comes to decisions regarding the consumption.

A sack filled with only bottles. This is only from one household of 5-6 people. Can you imagine multiplying this by a million?

Funny how our society has evolved from the simple caveman to the complex modern man… but I have started to wonder to myself: Are we really better off than our ancestors?

Only difference from years ago is that we have everything almost a arm’s length away yet we constantly refuse to move a finger. We have so much more especially in the variety of products as well that we tend to not pay much attention to what or how much we buy. Our society has become so wasteful and it’s alarming.

Take bottles for instance.

Everyday, we take for granted how we can just simply purchase a bottle of water. We don’t even stop to think where it all goes and how it will come back to us. I wonder if how many people have stopped and asked themselves: “How many bottles did I buy this week?” In our society, which is mainly consumes and consumes, I bet there is a surprising few who have asked themselves this without being prompted.

There are ways we can make a change though. Back to the example of the bottles, something as simple as purchasing a tumbler (with an “e” — NOT the microblogging site, mind you) can help you lessen your consumption of plastic bottles. You also get to save money!

Looks to me that we just need to take a little effort and give some consideration in order to help keep our planet healthy.

So I dust off the dust that has gathered…

New Header, New Feel ~

It’s been a while since I got to actually blog for myself. I’ve been busy with Letsplay2ne1 (If you are a 2NE1 fan, a Blackjack, I HIGHLY suggest you check this out!) and of course, school.

Okay, so I am kind of rusty at posting my personal thoughts and opinions but it is refreshing to be able to blog for myself again — no matter how limited the time might be to enjoy it. So yeah, life’s been like it’s always has been… well… LIFE!

The last real post I had put up was about how I was finally feeling like a Multimedia Arts student… I’m pretty sure I had a premonition that my jubilation that time would turn into something else. I won’t get into the stress loaded and exhausting details but I can say I’ve matured a bit.

The start of this school year really had shocked me with it’s work load but the results weren’t at all negative.

ConceptPho was one of those shockers but as you can see my output (after not being allowed to edit or shoot anything other than until the thights or a fullbody for THREE MONTHS) looks pretty good. (Yes, I am proud of myself.)

Sadly, I haven’t been able to practice more photography since the 2nd term started.

The reason was because there was no time and also, I was starting to get interesting in almost EVERY subject that I was being taught!

I’ll keep this short now since I have to get some sleep before my flight tomorrow this morning…

I’m having fun.

That’s it.

That’s the point.

No matter how my stats or tweets complain or grovel about schoolwork, I’m sincerely in enjoying myself. Though time to time, doubts about self confidence cross my mind, I’m still more (not less) happy that I’ve been able to experience this all.

Enjoy what you have. That’s one of my mottos.

Keep on whistling ~
